Terms in this definition
- Pipeline
Groups activities logically so that, together, they move and transform data, either one after another or side by side; found in both Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
- Microsoft-hosted agents
Azure Pipelines agents operated by Microsoft, each job getting a new VM outside your network. Reaching private resources therefore needs added connectivity or self-hosted agents instead.
Related terms
- Access control mode
Whether people can read Log Analytics data through their rights on individual resources depends on this workspace setting. Since March 2019 new workspaces default to the option that honours resource-context Azure RBAC as well as workspace rights; the stricter choice demands explicit access to the workspace or its tables.
- Grant controls
The part of a Conditional Access policy that either blocks access or demands conditions such as MFA, a compliant device or an approved client app. Several can be combined, requiring all of them or just one.
