Terms in this definition
- Model deployment
Inside a resource, each deployment is a named copy of a Foundry model with its own TPM quota and deployment type. Requests identify the model by this deployment name.
- VCF Automation
Self-service platform in VCF for provisioning VM, Kubernetes and AI workloads. Providers manage regions and tenants in one portal, while tenants handle projects and consumption in theirs.
- Catalog
The first level of Unity Catalog's
catalog.schema.tablenaming and the primary boundary for isolating data. Privileges granted on a catalog flow down to every schema and object it contains. - Policy sets
A way to assign several existing Intune items together as one bundle, such as apps, app protection and configuration policies, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Autopilot and ESP profiles. It only points at them and creates nothing new.
Related terms
- Lease container
Holds the lease documents through which the Cosmos DB change feed processor records how far each partition key range has got and shares work out between instances.
- MADCAP
Multicast clients receive their addresses on lease through this protocol, which DHCP multicast scopes rely on.
- MCLT
Maximum Client Lead Time, a DHCP failover value: the furthest a server may stretch a lease past what its partner is aware of. It governs temporary leases while the partner can't be reached and how long to wait before claiming the entire pool once the partner is marked down.
