Terms in this definition
- Column-family database
A NoSQL database that still has rows and columns, but organises related columns into named groups called column families. Apache Cassandra works this way.

An Android Enterprise setup for company-owned devices that one person uses only for work, with Intune in control of the entire device.
- NoSQL
Document-oriented Cosmos DB API: data is JSON and queries use a dialect resembling SQL.
- CQL
Query language of Apache Cassandra, used by Cosmos DB's API for Cassandra.
- Migrate
Part of Adopt in the Cloud Adoption Framework: the guidance for lifting workloads you already run, on-premises or in another cloud, across to Azure. It assumes you have prepared a migration adoption plan and built a landing zone. Not to be mixed up with the Azure Migrate service.
