- Cloud Adoption Framework
Microsoft's body of guidance on adopting Azure. It runs through seven stages (Strategy, Plan, Ready, Adopt, Govern, Secure, Manage), and the landing zone is what Ready delivers.
- Azure Migrate
Azure service that discovers, assesses and migrates on-premises servers using an appliance deployed on premises; its project is created in the destination subscription.

A column-family database that is open source. Azure offers a fully managed Cosmos DB API for it that still uses CQL (Cassandra Query Language), letting existing workloads migrate with little rework.
