- Azure Monitor
Observability platform for Azure that brings together metrics, logs and traces from both Azure and hybrid resources so they can be analysed and alerted on.
- VALUES
Returns in DAX the distinct column values, or table rows, still visible after filters are applied, sometimes with an extra blank entry. CALCULATE often takes the result as a table filter.
- Platform metrics
Numeric metrics that all Azure resources produce automatically every minute, needing no setup and costing nothing. Counters from the guest OS are excluded and require an agent.
