Terms in this definition
- Cloud Solution Provider
A programme in which a Microsoft partner, not Microsoft, holds the customer relationship: it decides pricing, invoices the customer and handles first-line support. Azure reaches customers through it as an Azure plan.
- Set
Secret permission in Key Vault for writing secrets; some older material refers to it as Create.
- Microsoft Partner Agreement
The agreement Cloud Solution Provider partners use to manage Azure plan subscriptions for their customers, with one billing profile for each currency. Subscriptions can be created through code under it, but the DevTest offer is not available.
- Tenant
A trusted, dedicated Microsoft Entra ID instance that stores the users, groups and app registrations of one organisation. A subscription trusts only a single tenant, although a tenant can be trusted by several subscriptions.
