Lets data drive a visual's appearance, for instance colouring backgrounds or fonts by gradient, by rules or by a field, or adding data bars, icons and web links in tables and matrices. It has to be configured on each visual separately, as themes can't hold it.

A short written description (250 characters at most) attached to a visual, image, shape or text box so that screen-reader users hear what it shows. You enter it under General in the Format pane, and conditional formatting can make it change with the data.
