An automated process, defined in YAML in .github/workflows, that runs one or more jobs when triggered by an event, on a schedule or by hand. It is GitHub's equivalent of a pipeline in Azure Pipelines.

- YAML
A data format designed to be easy for people to read, used for Container Apps definitions, ACR multi-step tasks and Kubernetes manifests.
- Agents (classic) API
First-generation Foundry Agent Service API, based on threads, messages and runs. It is deprecated, replaced by conversations and responses, and retires on 31 March 2027.
- Event
Table in Log Analytics where entries from Windows event logs are kept.
- Pipeline
Groups activities logically so that, together, they move and transform data, either one after another or side by side; found in both Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
- Azure Pipelines
CI/CD service within Azure DevOps that deploys applications and infrastructure as code, with environments, approvals and checks.
