OpenAI's text-to-image model series, which took over from DALL-E in Azure. The first gpt-image-1 preview is retiring on 23 October 2026, so newer models such as gpt-image-2 or gpt-image-1-mini are used for new projects.

- OVER
Gives a T-SQL window function its window: PARTITION BY, ORDER BY and, if wanted, a ROWS or RANGE frame. Rankings and running totals can then be worked out while every row is kept.
- DALL-E
OpenAI's former image-generation model; Azure retired dall-e-3 on 4 March 2026, with the gpt-image series taking over.
- FIRST
A DAX function available only inside visual calculations. It fetches the value at the start of one axis of the visual's matrix, which makes it handy for comparing each point with the first; its opposite is LAST.
- gpt-image-1-mini
A quicker, cheaper member of the gpt-image family. It can inpaint using a mask but offers neither
input_fidelitynor dedicated preservation of faces.
