Terms in this definition
- Pairing
Deployment pipelines link an item in one stage to its counterpart in the next. Deploying overwrites a linked item, but an unlinked item that just shares its name gets copied across as a duplicate.
Related terms
- Agent identity
Service principal of a special kind representing an AI agent, holding no credentials itself. It can act on its own using app-only permissions or for a user using delegated ones; Conditional Access offers only block, not grant controls, for it.
- Agent memory
The past conversation and knowledge an AI agent draws from it, such as summaries, facts and user profiles, saved so the agent keeps context from one turn or session to the next. Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Managed Redis are common places to keep it.
- Security Copilot agent
An AI agent, configured by a Security Copilot owner or contributor, that carries out Copilot workflows when its trigger fires, acting under the identity it has been given.
