- CRUD
Shorthand for create, read, update and delete, the four basic things you do with data. Data-plane roles in Azure Cosmos DB, for instance, authorise those operations on items.
- FK
Short for foreign key: a column pointing at the primary key of a different table. Azure Databricks treats both key constraint types as information only and does not enforce them.
- Index field attributes
Settings applied to each field in an Azure AI Search index:

Related terms
- Nested triggers
A server configuration option deciding whether AFTER triggers may cascade, so that a change made by one trigger sets off another, to a maximum depth of 32.
- Sensitivity label inheritance
Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels spreading automatically across Fabric and Power BI: new items copy their parent's label, labels arrive from data sources, items get relabelled on update, and changes cascade to dependants without overriding manually set or stricter labels.
