Terms in this definition
- Peering location
Where, physically, an ExpressRoute circuit meets the Microsoft edge. Circuits cannot be pinned to availability zones, so stacking several at one location adds no zone resilience.
- ExpressRoute Global Reach
Add-on joining the private peerings of two ExpressRoute circuits so on-premises sites can talk across Microsoft's backbone. ExpressRoute Local can't use it, and Premium is needed only between geopolitical regions.

- Unlimited data plan
Under this ExpressRoute billing option, the monthly charge covers all inbound and outbound data. ExpressRoute Local can only use this plan.
