Terms in this definition
- VIP
The frontend address of a load balancer, also called its virtual IP. Its availability is tracked by the Data Path Availability metric.
- VCF Operations for logs
VCF add-on for collecting and analysing logs, deployed through fleet management as one node or a three-node cluster. Anyone moving from Aria Operations for Logs deploys it afresh rather than upgrading.
- primary node
Initial VCF Operations node. Under high availability a replica keeps a copy of what it holds; extra capacity comes from data nodes.
- Model deployment
Inside a resource, each deployment is a named copy of a Foundry model with its own TPM quota and deployment type. Requests identify the model by this deployment name.
- External
API Management virtual network mode in which the gateway stays public but can call private back ends inside the VNet.
