Terms in this definition
- AGDLP
Nesting pattern: users go into global groups, which go into domain local groups, which receive the permissions. AGUDLP adds universal groups for forests with several domains.
- Microsoft 365
Formerly Office 365, Microsoft's software-as-a-service productivity suite. A Microsoft Entra tenant provides its identity, and its data is not governed by Azure RBAC.
- Group-based licensing
Licence assignment made to the direct members of a security-enabled group, requiring Entra ID P1 or P2. Members of nested groups are not included, and a licence a user inherits cannot be removed from that user directly.
