A ready-made bundle of Teams policies aimed at a particular role, for example frontline staff or teachers, which admins give to people or groups from the Teams admin center. Editing one of its policies changes the settings for every user the package is assigned to.
- Team template
A reusable blueprint (from Microsoft or built in-house) that sets up channels, settings and apps so that new teams start out alike. Admins look after them in the Teams admin center.
- Teams policies
Settings applied from the Teams admin center that decide, for instance, whether people may create private or shared channels, or bring outside guests into shared ones.
