- Table options
Set only at creation with
OPTIONS, these key-value storage settings can't be altered or dropped afterwards; on Delta tables they also show up among the table properties. - VNet
A private network belonging to a single subscription and region and covering all of that region's availability zones. A VM can only use a VNet located in the same region.
- Virtual network gateway
Lives in GatewaySubnet and comes in two types, ExpressRoute or VPN. Setting it as the next hop in a UDR routes traffic on-premises.
- NVA
Network virtual appliance, a VM from a third party acting as a firewall, router or other network device.
