VMware's platform for virtualisation, made up of vCenter and ESX hosts, supplying compute for VCF clusters.

Designed for real-time industrial traffic, this vSphere Distributed Switch 9.0.0 mode can only be chosen when creating a switch, and it turns off health check, IPFIX, port mirroring and Network I/O Control, among others.
- LACPDU
A control frame sent by the Link Aggregation Control Protocol between an aggregated link and the switch at the other end, once a second in Fast mode or every 30 seconds in Slow mode. These frames are excluded from port mirroring.
