Terms in this definition
- Power BI report
A set of one or more pages of interactive visuals, all drawing on a single semantic model, usually designed in Power BI Desktop (the service can also build them with a smaller feature set) and then published to a workspace.
- Readers
Gives view-only rights within an Azure DevOps project, for example over releases and pipelines. Don't confuse it with Azure's Reader role or the agent pool Reader role.
- Flow
The unit of work inside a Lakeflow pipeline that takes data from a source, transforms it and lands it in a destination like a streaming table. Streaming flows either append or update, and
CREATE FLOWlets you declare a flow apart from the table it feeds.

- Activator
Rather than just displaying data as a dashboard does, this Real-Time Intelligence tool in Microsoft Fabric reacts to it. You define rules without writing code, and once a pattern or condition is spotted it can send an email or Teams message, or start a Power Automate flow or Fabric pipeline.
- SQL Server connector
Used in Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps, this connector talks to SQL Server, Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure SQL Database. Triggers for new or changed rows rely on change tracking being enabled.
