- Diagnostic setting
Configuration sending a resource's metrics and logs to a storage account, Event Hubs, Log Analytics or a partner solution; a resource can have five at most.
- Dedicated
Running Azure Functions on an App Service plan, which removes the execution time limit and offers VNet integration on Basic and higher tiers.
- Event
Table in Log Analytics where entries from Windows event logs are kept.
- AZFWNetworkRule
When Azure Firewall logs in resource-specific mode, entries produced by its network rules land in this Log Analytics table.
- Azure Firewall
Stateful network firewall run by Azure as a managed service; it can be placed in Virtual WAN hubs and administered through Firewall Manager.
- AzureDiagnostics
Log Analytics table shared by many services, receiving Azure resource logs from diagnostic settings that use the legacy Azure diagnostics mode, Azure Firewall logs being one example. Guest operating system logs don't go here.
