Terms in this definition
- WHERE
Limits a SELECT, UPDATE or DELETE to just the rows meeting a condition. Omit it, and the statement hits every row.

- Schema
The middle part of a Unity Catalog name (
catalog.schema.table), grouping tables, views, volumes, functions and models inside a catalog. A grant on it covers everything in it now and later, and nothing inside can be reached withoutUSE SCHEMA. - Event
Table in Log Analytics where entries from Windows event logs are kept.
- Dashboard
Page in VCF Operations built from widgets that display object metrics, properties, alerts and relationships. Predefined and custom dashboards exist, and either kind can be shared.

- Real-time Mode
A Structured Streaming mode in Spark, set with Trigger.RealTime on Fabric Runtime 2.0, where tasks stay running and handle each record on arrival rather than working in microbatches. Its output mode must be update, and its sources and sinks are limited to Kafka-compatible ones or a foreach sink, so files and Delta tables can't be used.
