vCenter
Management software for VMs, clusters and ESX hosts. Each domain in VCF gets a dedicated one.
vSAN
VMware's software-defined storage, which combines local devices across a cluster's ESX hosts into one shared datastore. Available as OSA or ESA, VCF can use it as principal storage.

10-Year Audit Log Retention
An add-on licence assigned per user that lets audit records be kept for a decade. The user also needs Audit (Premium) and a retention policy covering those records, and older records are not extended retroactively.
Microsoft Entra Workload ID Premium
An add-on licence for workload identities. It allows Conditional Access and ID Protection on service principals from a single tenant, reviews of privileged ones, and recommendations on app health; managed identities and Microsoft first-party apps can't use the first two.
