Terms in this definition
- Storage account
The top-level resource in Azure Storage, giving a unique namespace for table, queue, file and blob data. Location, performance and kind are set when it is created and cannot change.
- Standard deployment type
A Foundry deployment type billed per token that keeps processing of prompts and responses inside the Azure geography of the resource, meeting data residency needs at lower volumes.
- Performance
Routing method in Traffic Manager that directs users to whichever endpoint offers the lowest latency.
- AGDLP
Nesting pattern: users go into global groups, which go into domain local groups, which receive the permissions. AGUDLP adds universal groups for forests with several domains.
Related terms
- Azure SQL auditing
Azure SQL feature that sends audit logs to Event Hubs, a Log Analytics workspace (the only KQL-queryable option) or a storage account, which in the portal must be in the server's region and can't be premium FileStorage or legacy BlobStorage.
- Lifecycle management
Blob Storage policy whose rules delete blobs, or shift them to another access tier, once they reach an age counted from creation, modification, last access or last tier change. GPv2 and legacy BlobStorage accounts support it, as do premium block blob accounts for deletion only.
