Notifies you when a refresh takes a Power BI dashboard tile's value past a limit you set; it works on card, KPI and gauge tiles. Reports can't have them, and nobody but the creator sees the alert.

Terms in this definition
- Power BI dashboard
A one-page summary in the Power BI service, assembled from tiles pinned out of one or more reports. You cannot slice or filter it as you can a report, and Power BI Desktop has no way to build one.
- Tile
Usually pinned from a report, a tile is one visual on a Power BI dashboard; selecting it opens that original report.
- Set
Secret permission in Key Vault for writing secrets; some older material refers to it as Create.
- KPI
A metric flagged as a KPI in a VCF Operations policy, so that breaching its threshold raises an alert.
- Gauge
Shows progress on one number towards its target as a circular arc in a Power BI report.
