Terms in this definition
- Power BI dashboard
A one-page summary in the Power BI service, assembled from tiles pinned out of one or more reports. You cannot slice or filter it as you can a report, and Power BI Desktop has no way to build one.
Related terms
- Button slicer
Lets report users filter by clicking styled tiles laid out in a grid; each tile can include a picture, conditional formatting and a highlight label.
- Data alert
Notifies you when a refresh takes a Power BI dashboard tile's value past a limit you set; it works on card, KPI and gauge tiles. Reports can't have them, and nobody but the creator sees the alert.
- Real-Time Dashboard
An item in Fabric Real-Time Intelligence that displays streaming data as live visuals with low latency. Each tile combines a KQL query and a visual, and Copilot can help create tiles from natural-language requests.
- Requirements quality widget
Dashboard tile listing requirements returned by a work item query next to the newest outcome of each one's linked tests in one selected pipeline stage, making it obvious which are failing or lack tests.
