Three Power Query views: column quality, giving the share of valid, empty and error values; column distribution, giving distinct and unique counts; and column profile, giving statistics and a value breakdown. Unless you switch them to the full data set, only the first 1,000 rows are examined.

Terms in this definition
- Share
In OpenSharing, the container you fill with tables, views, volumes, models and notebooks for recipients. You need
CREATE SHAREon the metastore to make one; add a schema and all its assets, including later ones, go with history. - VALUES
Returns in DAX the distinct column values, or table rows, still visible after filters are applied, sometimes with an extra blank entry. CALCULATE often takes the result as a table filter.
- Statistics
Information about how values are distributed in a column, which the warehouse optimiser uses to estimate plan costs. Fabric builds and updates it for you; manual CREATE, UPDATE and DROP STATISTICS are limited to single-column histograms.
- SWITCH
Checks one expression against several candidate values, returning whichever result pairs with the match (or a fallback otherwise). Writing SWITCH ( TRUE (), ... ) avoids nested IF chains: whichever condition is first true wins.
- Set
Secret permission in Key Vault for writing secrets; some older material refers to it as Create.
- FIRST
A DAX function available only inside visual calculations. It fetches the value at the start of one axis of the visual's matrix, which makes it handy for comparing each point with the first; its opposite is LAST.
