Each book explains Enrollment Status Page in context, with comparison tables and the common traps.
Terms in this definition
- OOBE
The set of screens Windows shows when a device is first switched on and set up. Windows Autopilot deployment profiles tailor these screens, and the Enrollment Status Page appears while they run.
- Windows Autopilot
A collection of technologies for setting up new Windows devices from the cloud so they arrive ready for work, with no need to reimage them.
- FIRST
A DAX function available only inside visual calculations. It fetches the value at the start of one axis of the visual's matrix, which makes it handy for comparing each point with the first; its opposite is LAST.
- Chat message roles
Labels on chat messages: instructions go under system, the person's input under user, the model's previous answers under assistant, and results returned by a called tool under tool (or function).
- Stop sequence
One of up to four strings that make the model halt generation; the sequence itself is not included in the output.
Related terms
- AH
Short for Authentication Header, an IPsec protocol that verifies the sender and integrity of an entire IP packet but leaves it unencrypted. Network security group rules can filter on it, as they can on TCP, UDP, ICMP and ESP.
- Autopilot diagnostics page
If the Enrollment Status Page profile allows it, pressing Ctrl+Shift+D during Windows 11 OOBE opens this page. It shows what the deployment is doing and can export logs, one of which is a CSV with the hardware hash.
- Policy sets
A way to assign several existing Intune items together as one bundle, such as apps, app protection and configuration policies, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Autopilot and ESP profiles. It only points at them and creates nothing new.
