Short for Data Analysis Expressions, the formula language you write measures, calculated columns and row-level security rules in, within tabular semantic models in Power BI, Excel Power Pivot or Analysis Services.

A figure like total revenue, worked out by aggregating fact table data wherever dimensions intersect within a semantic model.

Permission on Key Vault secrets allowing a caller to enumerate those in a vault, though their values are not returned.

Gives back, as text, the name of whichever measure a calculation item is being applied to. Handy for debugging, but ISSELECTEDMEASURE is the better choice for comparisons since it keeps working after a measure is renamed.
