- Physical
Describes the concrete, real-world parts that put a logical architecture into effect.

- ABB
An Architecture Building Block is a logical description of a component that stays independent of any supplier. Belonging to the Architecture Continuum, it records what the architecture requires and guides how Solution Building Blocks are chosen or built.
- Abstraction levels
Four layers that make an architecture easier to talk about: Contextual answers why, Conceptual what, Logical how and Physical with what. Every level spans all four architecture domains.
- Column mapping
A Delta table feature that separates the logical names of columns from their physical names, so columns can be renamed or dropped as a metadata-only change and names may contain characters like spaces.
- COUNTAX
A DAX iterator that evaluates an expression across a table's rows and counts how many results are not blank, logical values included.
- COUNTX
Iterates a table, computing an expression for each row, and counts only those rows whose result is a non-blank number, string or date. Logical results need COUNTAX instead.
- Data Architecture
Covered in Phase C, it sets out how an enterprise's main data types and sources are organised, along with its logical and physical data assets and the resources used to manage data.
- DFS Namespaces
A role service in Windows Server that presents shared folders spread over several servers as a single logical tree (or several), with each folder pointing at one or more targets.
- ExpressRoute circuit
The logical link between on-premises and Microsoft, provided by a connectivity partner or through ExpressRoute Direct. A service key identifies it, and it carries both Microsoft and private peering.
