Terms in this definition
- Public cloud
Services that a provider such as Microsoft owns, operates and sells to any customer. Nothing needs buying upfront, and charges follow actual consumption.
- Azure Machine Learning environment
Versioned asset that pairs a Docker image with a pip or conda specification, so every job or deployment using it gets identical dependencies. You point to it by name plus a version number, or by name with @latest.
- Hybrid cloud
Joining private and public clouds into one connected setup, so that, say, regulated data stays private while extra demand bursts out to public capacity. Multicloud is a different idea.
