Terms in this definition
- Eventstream
Lets you pull live events into Microsoft Fabric from Apache Kafka, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Event Hubs and similar sources, reshape them and pass them on elsewhere, all with no coding; it belongs to Real-Time Intelligence.
Related terms
- Tumbling window
Time split into back-to-back intervals of equal length that never overlap, so every event lands in one window only; in effect, a hopping window whose hop is the same as its size. You write it as TumblingWindow(unit, size) in an Eventstream SQL operator, as window() without a slide in Spark, or with bin() in KQL.
