Terms in this definition
- vSphere HA
When a host fails, this cluster capability restarts its VMs elsewhere; through VM Component Protection and VM Monitoring it also reacts to storage and VM failures.
- VMware Tools
Drivers and services that run inside a virtual machine's operating system to boost speed and enable clean shutdowns, heartbeats and guest operations. It should be upgraded ahead of the VM's compatibility level.
- Stop sequence
One of up to four strings that make the model halt generation; the sequence itself is not included in the output.
