AZ-104 is free on Kindle from 9 to 11 October

The Kindle edition of Ultra Transcenders AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator will be free on Amazon next weekend, from Friday 9 October to Sunday 11 October 2026.

Amazon runs free promotions from midnight to midnight Pacific time, so in the UK it’s free from about 8am on Friday until 8am on Monday 12 October. On those days, use the buttons below to get it from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com. Once you’ve downloaded it, it’s yours to keep.

What’s in the book

AZ-104 is the exam for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification. It asks which role, setting or tool does the job, and why. The book covers that in:

• Fifteen chapters by technology, from identities, access and governance to virtual networks, storage, compute, monitoring and backup.
• Comparison tables for the close calls, such as storage redundancy options, SAS types and availability sets vs availability zones.
• Common-trap callouts that name the answers that look right but aren’t.
• 25 diagrams, including how NSG rules are evaluated and hub-and-spoke peering.
• A glossary of 650+ terms, each linked to Microsoft Learn, with the same terms explained free online.

Try a chapter first

Several sections are free to read on this site:

• Azure storage redundancy: LRS vs ZRS vs GRS vs GZRS
• How Azure NSG rules are evaluated
• Azure shared access signatures (SAS) explained
• Azure resource locks: CanNotDelete vs ReadOnly

Going for Solutions Architect Expert?

The Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification needs both AZ-104 and AZ-305. The AZ-305 book covers the design side, organised the same way.

If the book helps, a short review on Amazon makes a real difference to an independent series. Thank you, and good luck with the exam.
