A key deliverable bringing together the main architecture artifacts across the four domains for every relevant state: baseline, transition and target. It sets out, in qualitative terms, what the architect intends.

Related terms
- Access package assignment manager
An entitlement management role, scoped to a catalog, whose holders can add users to or remove them from access packages that already exist. They cannot create or change the packages themselves or the policies attached to them.
- Actions for noncompliance
What a compliance policy does, in order, when a device fails it. Marking the device noncompliant always happens, at day 0 unless you add a grace period; you can also send an email or push notification, lock the device remotely or put it on the retire list.
- ANSI mode
A stricter Spark SQL behaviour, enabled by default since Apache Spark 4.0 (so also in Fabric Runtime 2.0), where a bad cast or an integer overflow fails the query rather than quietly producing null. Functions such as
try_cast,try_addandtry_dividekeep the old null result, while switching ANSI mode off should be treated as a temporary workaround. - Append blob
Block-based blob tuned for writes that only add to the end, such as logs. Access tiers cannot be applied to it.
- Architecture Requirements Specification
The quantitative partner of the Architecture Definition Document, setting out measurable criteria any implementation has to meet to conform with the architecture.
- Audit attributes
Columns you can choose to add to fact or dimension tables to log the history of each row, such as the date it was inserted, the date it was last updated, or which ETL job made the change.
- Automatic index management
Lets the database add and remove indexes by itself to match the workload, through the
CREATE_INDEXandDROP_INDEXautomatic tuning options. You'll only find it in SQL database in Fabric and Azure SQL Database. - az ml online-endpoint update --traffic
Azure CLI command for dividing live requests across the deployments behind one online endpoint, given as name=percentage pairs such as
blue=90 green=10; the values have to add up to either 100 or 0.
