Terms in this definition
- OVER
Gives a T-SQL window function its window: PARTITION BY, ORDER BY and, if wanted, a ROWS or RANGE frame. Rankings and running totals can then be worked out while every row is kept.
- Windows Deployment Services
A Windows Server role for installing operating systems over PXE network boot. It also serves BitLocker Network Unlock, and part of its boot.wim image capability has been deprecated.
- BitLocker Network Unlock
Lets domain-joined servers reboot without anyone typing a PIN: when they're on a trusted wired network, a WDS server holding the Network Unlock certificate unlocks the system drive.
