Terms in this definition
- Set
Secret permission in Key Vault for writing secrets; some older material refers to it as Create.
- NEXT
Restricted to visual calculations, this DAX function reads the value one step further along an axis of the visual matrix; writing OFFSET with 1 gives the same result.
- Warehouse
Fabric item offering complete T-SQL support (DML, DDL, multi-table transactions) over Delta tables held in OneLake; lakehouse SQL analytics endpoints, by contrast, are read-only.
- Standard deployment type
A Foundry deployment type billed per token that keeps processing of prompts and responses inside the Azure geography of the resource, meeting data residency needs at lower volumes.

- Recursive CTE
A CTE that refers to itself, joining an anchor part to a recursive part with UNION ALL; T-SQL's usual tool for walking hierarchies. Depth is capped by MAXRECURSION, which is 100 unless changed.
